ICC - Structured Cabling Producers

When ICC came to us, their website no longer reflected the reputation of a long-standing leader in high-quality structured cabling products. Its design felt dated, navigation was frustrating, and key elements blended together. We modernized the look and feel while making navigation intuitive. We redesigned the interface, clarified visual hierarchy, and emphasized the elements that matter most to users. The result was a website that matched the quality of the products the company produced.

Homepage

Problem

The design was outdated and used space ineffectively. The slider didn't work properly, degrading performance. The contrast between colors hurt accessibility. Product display was bland and uninviting. CTAs were missing.

Solution

The hero section is now modern and distinct from the reset of the page. Navigation is expanded and more usable and colors more contrasted. Products are higher up the page to help users find them more quickly. Pages feature more products and categories. An added CTA directs users to the full product range.

Single Product Page

Problem

Product pages used space disproportionately, muting product options and descriptions. Small and lightweight fonts hurt readability.

Solution

Our user-focused design balances space, which emphasizes product options and draws attention to the product description. Larger and heavier font makes text more readable.

Product Category Page

Problem

On product category pages, informative text was buried, the sidebar was cluttered, the title was duplicated, and the pages weren't optimized for mobile devices. Hard-to-see pagination and breadcrumbs made navigation more difficult.

Solution

Our design cleans the sidebar and re-positions images to highlight important category description. Borders call out individual products. Better pagination and breadcrumbs improve navigation.
