From Concept to Code: Developing a Custom WordPress Website for a Design Agency
In cooperation with BBG, a design and branding agency, our team designed and developed a custom WordPress website to meet their requirements. The website needed to have smooth animations, high performance, and error-free functions, all within the agency's creative direction.

Design Style02
The design is soft and vibrant in shade, a combination of lavender and white with light pink, amply accented in bold black. Playful yet modern, it evokes creativity and innovation, hence effectively completing the technology-based theme. Helvetica Now contributes to the design by adding a clean, modern touch to it.

Challenges & Objectives
Delievering a website that dealt with heavy animations while not sacrificing load time was the biggest challenge. The agency required a high-performance website, responsive on all devices, and easy to update. Our goals were to create an error-free, high-performance website which brought their creative vision alive through a custom WordPress theme.
Solution
Our team designed a WordPress theme from scratch, giving much attention to performance and design in equal measure. We used smooth animations and optimized the site for speed with the goal of ensuring great user experiences on desktop and mobile. The back-end was designed to be uncomplicated; the agency can manage the content and make updates with no technical headaches.

The project included a fully custom WordPress theme tailored to the agency's needs. We worked in animations that were engaging yet lightweight, making sure they did not affect site speed. The backend was intuitive; thus, it would be rather easy for the agency to update their content as their portfolio expanded.

Smooth Animations
The website we built is fully animated, and you can see some of these animations in the video below. The animations were designed to be smooth and light, so visitors have a pleasant experience.
Interactive Chat Feature
We created a chat feature with an animated dog assistant called "Little Jerry." When users hover over the icon, the dog pops up, blinks, interacts, and then fades away.
Mobile-First Development
We developed the website with a Mobile-first approach that works perfectly on mobile devices. By optimizing it for mobile devices first, we ensured it was amazingly fast, responsive, and user-friendly on all screen sizes.
Results
The website launched with a page-load speed increase of 25%. Users benefited from fluid animations and a generally improved UI/UX, while the agency found working with the content much easier. The website has continued to perform as such to this date, with no reports of issues or bugs since its launch.
